You Don't Know Me Poem by Aqua Flower

You Don't Know Me

Rating: 4.8

Sometimes we only see the outside
never to open and look within
we sit behind the computer and hide
but what is real is under our skin
we treat others as if they were just things
not look at them as having any feelings
and this lack of human affection
leaves the world with no connection
this great world of technology
has it killed our humanity

I have to agree with you here, Aqua. Technology is taking away from instead of adding to life and human contact.

Such is the present state of the human touch...I totally agree! Great poem

Sad but true. Human touch is slowly evaporating from this planet. We can only hope and pray it is a slow decay, Thanks for reading Bill.

Good question; I think we all sometimes think so.
