You don't believe - I won't attempt to make ye: You are asleep - I won't attempt to wake ye. Sleep on! sleep on! while in your pleasant dreams Of Reason you may drink of Life's clear streams. These lines are good to talk about many other things!

You don't believe - I won't attempt to make ye: You are asleep - I won't attempt to wake ye. Sleep on! sleep on! - ITALIAN: Tu non credi - non proverò a farti credere: Tu sei addormentato - non proverò a svegliarti. Dormici su! dormi!

A tug of war between the faithful who blindly believed in everything connected with spirituality/ religiosity and the scientific temperaments who did not believe any thing without backing of material evidence. Amazingly presented thought provoking poem, penned by a master spirit.
