You Carried Away, My Identity With You Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

You Carried Away, My Identity With You

Rating: 4.0

You Carried Away, My Identity With You

You carried away, my identity with you
Your departure, gifted me unbearable pain.
Since then, I haven't witnessed, amen
Reflection of mine in mirror, again.

When you carry away, my vision with you
No use of eye that turns useless for sight.
Faith of wings, ensures no any meaning
When there is no destination, to fly.

I have a question for you, oh my dear
How can Moon restore her twilight.
If Sun isn't there, to reflect her and care.
Why you aren't ready to feel me, inside you.

How horrible it is, a life without you!
Neither Sunshine nor rainbow, carries hue
Dawn of Hope flew away, along with you,
My own shadow left me for new Entity, it due.

You carried a part of me, with you
I am an incomplete existence, without you.
Indeed, life is a matrix of joy and pain
You left only pain, carrying joy with you.
