You Belong To
Gandhiji* you are no more”
In our life to learn and adore
You belong to politicians
For taking oath on different occasions
Even though they have evil designs
To remain in power and reign
Not to care for the poor and downtrodden
But dream about his empire and heaven
“Disband the entire political set up” you had once told
But the leopards were cunning and bold
They had found political access
And tested blood to show false grief on face
You are not remembered for high ideals
Simplicity or honesty in freedom deal
You were used as tool
The people around you as wise and not fool
You shall cry in open
If witness today’s scene
The sacred pages of Gita* is used to take false oath
Hatred and not the love has become powerful tool till the arrival of death
Bapuji….. The name given to father of nation
Gita……. Holy book for Hindus
