Beautifully written. This is the first poem I have ever read with an author's note to include the word 'ontology.' :) I've always read it when reading texts on the philosophy of science and in qualitative research....with a focus on ontology (what things are) and epistemology (the way we know things) . I love how you separated out the parts of the human being into different metaphors. Very creative and crafty! Love the reference to Andromeda and your appreciation of female characters in your writing. Also interesting is how you convey much of this through the observant, conversant speaker. I want to understand more about who the speaker is. Interesting how you take this story and relate it to not only the woman in the poem and Andromeda (in the first stanza) , but really to all of us (in the second) . My joy expands in your service? Who is he? Interesting!
What a wonderful description of a Princess Andromeda! While reading I had an envious selfish dream to suit the role! as for virtual - I'm afraid a little about this duality. Afraid about lie, But we love all our past heros virtually.
