You are pinned to my heart
like an emblem displayed,
It's a piercing secure
and yet still I'm afraid

You will hold me together,
no sign of release,
through tempests and sunstorms
your love will not cease.

I know this, I know it..
Yet still I hold back.
I fear the unknown
is about to attack

A love so intense is a stranger to me,
I wait for disaster to call.
My past holds dark torment,
with trust, my downfall.

You are pinned to my heart
so I won't feel afraid,
with you holding me firm
this love won't be betrayed.
