We have a bond
that is insurmountable
transcends all impediments
is long lasting
and honest, true

We know we can
count on each other
through all circumstances
all encompassing, everlasting.
We've seen it all

turbulent times, peaceful serenity
But our overabundant friendship
and companionship have survived
It's become routine,
being there for one another

Even when the odds
are stacked against us
we remain stable, concrete
It creates a feeling
of satisfaction, being complete.
