You are everything -
You bring the light to the day
And the soft settling of the stars
Within the night sky
The steadying hand
As life goes flying by;

You are my point of safety
In an unsafe world
My unsung hero
In a world of false heroes
My refuge in the storm
And from all that fate throws;

The regiments of voices
Will never sing you praise
The throngs and crowds
Will pass you by and not see
But you are everything -
Everything to me.
