You Are Different To My Heart And Soul Poem by Tina Baaklini

You Are Different To My Heart And Soul

My love,

You are different to my heart and soul
You are different from people, from all

People's knowledge is temporary
But you and I are destined for eternity
The roots of our hearts are intertwined
As an old-aged tree lost in time

People greet me with their hands
But you greet me with your soul
People read my poems
But you read between the lines
You feel the beating of my heart
And hear the whispering of my soul

People make me smile for a while
But you sow joy in my heart in piles
Through their eyes, people see my outside
But through your heart, you feel my inside

You are different, but never indifferent
You are patient, in feelings affluent
We didn't reunite by chance or coincidence
It was a gift from the Providence
