You Poem by SRIRANJI ARATISANKAR

You

Stay with me, walk with me
My freak of fancy
You indifferent like a river
Yet appear my own
Sometimes you look like a calm-water pond
Whimsically hold reflection
and break it into pieces..

Suddenly you appear; my imagery
As if a flowering branch of cloudberry
Sower-sprinkled; shadowy
Scatter pleasing fragrance..

Sometimes you appear a colourful bird
Wings crossing horizon, horizon beyond horizon

Last light following you
You flying beyond sight
You look like evening-star
Flying and flying
leaving a few feathers
Spinning coming down...

The evening stretching her hands for holding...
