neal, this is a great concept! i think of martin buber's i-thou i-it contrast. and it's like you to explore what is so basic, so important, but usually passed over. glen
This poem is so fascinatingly original and interesting. And how it flows! It takes us to inner spaces that nobody knows, private spaces that grow thru the poets words but that we can see and feel and get to know. A most satisfying and unusual experience. A piece of great poetic value and deep human stature.
How simple it would be to crush you/me with a single push. And you become me. It's all about perception. I found that line compelling. Thanks.
