Yin Poem by Maddy Jones

Yin

Will you be dancing with me?
Will you hold me so near?
Your locked eyes may see,
My wistful, nude fear,

Will your heart madly beat,
Upon my embrace?
Or will it slow in defeat,
When I kiss on your face?

Can you feel my soul?
From my touch on your skin?
For the stars are within us,
Our ethereal connection,

You can lead me in dance,
I will go where you are,
Ill show you my romance,
From cliche it is far,

To wholly revere you,
Allaying your pains,
To quelling your hurts,
It is never in vain,

For turmoil has peace,
Both differently strong,
As with love, there is fear,
The Yin to my Yang.
