I can't interpret it in better than esteemed poetess Valsa George has interpreted. It's a wonderful poem that sets a philosophical undertone. Appreciated the difference that the poet noticed between old and new. Wonderful title...top score..

Dwellers of old house caused fear in outsiders but when you yourself became dweller wearing their shoe, the realization comes that nobody is immune to fear no matter what kind of surrounding are there. Very profound and interesting poem in its expressions. Thank you so much for sharing.

A fascinating take on the themes of fear and cruelty. Mankind VS Mother Earth. Who's the conqueror? Who's the victor? Profound piece of poetry. Excellent write. Your poem inspired me to write: Mother Earth's Pain As Mankind pollutes Mother Earth cries now Torrent of abuse

A very gripping and intriguing write. New may replace the old but the past keeps coming back to us. The old fears are hard to die and cruelty in man is an eternal danger. A meaningful work.

Thrown over it Garbage and faeces Sometimes death rodents. Disgustful! Its dwellers often came up On the portico of my house, Intruded inside it. Yet, pitiable every time From it heard The distress call of a frog Grabbed by the snake wonderful piece enjoyed reding thank you for sharing

In a deserted land, the uncaring folk will dump all sorts of rubbish. Though you cleared everything and built a new house there, with time, all the thickets and bushes you had once cut down came back. But now you have adjusted to it and see the bushes as a wild cover for you! An interesting write! Enjoyed reading!
