Yesterday Is Gone Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Yesterday Is Gone

Rating: 5.0

Yesterday has vanished in the haze,
Its whispers fade like distant evening chimes.
The golden threads unravel from the days,
Unwinding dreams we wove in bygone times.

Yet see the morn, ablaze with newborn light,
A canvas fresh, untouched by errs of old.
The present beats with heart and boundless might,
Unfurling tales that wait to be untold.

Let not the shadows tether down your will,
Nor chains of memory bind you to the past.
For in today, the world is standing still,
A moment's breath that fades away too fast.

Embrace the now, the gift that shines so clear,
Yesterday is gone, but today is here.
