I wish I could go back to yesterday
The times were simplier
Not a care in the world.
All that mattered was me and you.
That was our yesterday.

No tears were shed
Just smiles and laughter
Cuddles and hugs.
Reality slipped away.
All that was left was me an you.
That was our yesterday.

I wish we could go back,
To the fun we had
The simple memorable moments
The smile you gave me
Pulling me close
Chasing me around your house
The tickles and the laughter
The silly laughter.
Just me and you.
That was our yesterday
