Yesterday Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Yesterday

Yeah, I do remember of yesterday
And it was the last to have seen your face
But what I didn't know was how deep the story goes
There were no signs in your voice
In a state of devoid
Which told you're fine

There will not be a tomorrow
When it's full of much sorrow
When I left you then I'd hear from you again
But now I think of times and how unfair they are
When you've gone afar

Yeah, I do remember of yesterday
And it was the last to have seen your face
But what I didn't know was how deep the story goes
There were no signs in your voice
In a state of devoid
Which told you're fine

Feel a little faint,
can't breathe
Nothing puts my heart at ease
