It's tough to leave what once was so easy
Those choices you nabbed when you were young.
Like chocolate that selection is never missed-
Because you already have had some.
When you're old and parched
And wish to imbibe once again
For that cocoa you once when young had slaked,
You find your cup now is empty-
Now only dregs, and they are not so tempting-
When too soon you are whisked away from your older imperious state
And seduced on a final (and lonely) and solitary date.
