Yes, A Kiss Poem by Arun Maji

Yes, A Kiss

Rating: 5.0

Today, at this solemn morning
When sun-rays are still soft
And wind still pleasant,
I beg you a kiss.
Yes, a kiss.
A soft kiss of yours
A sweet kiss of yours
A divine kiss of yours.

Don't give me food or shelter
If you wish to.
Don't give me clothes or comfort
If you wish to.
But give me kiss
Of your fiery juicy lips.

Life is painful anyway.
And everywhere is blood
Everywhere is cry of starved diseased and wounded.
And I don't want to live in this cruel world.
But still I live.
Why?
Why o love why?
It's because of your kiss.

Your kiss heals my wounded heart
Soothes my aching soul
Illuminates my shadowed journey
Directs me when I am lost.

Let this heavenly morning be the witness-
My heart
My soul
My whole existence beg you a kiss.
Yes, a kiss
Of your fiery juicy lips.
