Ya Read Me? Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

Ya Read Me?

To
have
your true
soul…?
A beautiful realization
you need not control…
for this indeed is an ideal
situation… and such the relief!
Bound in the belief that there need
be no grief among the whole of humanity.
Within this set of minds, you may and will find
that truly this idea is one of its kind from
heaven… this may take some new form
this may take you into a new time
this may become difficult…
no worries, no hurries
do not scurry about
for the thoughts
that will bring
you to tout
and shout
this all out…
Cause that commotion
to incite, your devotions
ring the chimes, of creation
across each; of earth's nations!
In elation, discover the issues once
mulled over, and long ago forgotten.
End your long blindness to mercy and
kindness, towards all of your kin, for in
reality, there is only one species; human!
And from your new and settled mind set do
broadcast out to the universe your willingness
to cast aside all of your life's regrets and get busy
in your new business of sharing happiness and caring
throughout all of your remaining days within this garden.
At any and all costs, you must value and repair, that which
has been lost; till and turn the ‘good soil' you are given, reject
the anguish of ‘modern living, ' cease digging for coin and join
living's new celebration, of friendship and accommodation to
all people in this nation spreading this idealistic compilation
to all of your friends, kin, and relations… Ya read me?
