Beautiful poem. Yes, I agree with Valsa's comment. There is great joy in giving peace and joy rather than receiving. Second stanza makes it interesting.
The second stanza says it all.... there is greater joy or peace in giving than in recieving! The sea is turbulent where as the river is disturbed rarely by occasional tumult! !
