Beautiful poem..I will share this one with my friends on Facebook today..
In the desert I rise Stars my companion and guide Chilly night wind my music Horizon my imagination This last drop of water..my treasure! Beautiful write my friend...just recovered from my long illness.
Very descriptive, I was transported to the place and after all there was grassy land.
A tough ride indeed it was to be in the sweltering heat that had no mercy. The camel as your only friend and means of travel. Glad you did not see any mirages. We always had a saying beat the heat. You didn't beat it you joined it! Good write I like it.
Along with the poem I travelled thank for nice journey thnk
The desert is not a good place to be, either the geographical ones or those of the mind. Great write, enjoyed reading. Don't know if a metaphor was intended, but it works with one.

I once went through the Negev desert on a camel called Golda. Your poem reminded me of that time. Lovely poem.
