Very beautiful poem, the title is gorgeous just on its own but the little story behind it is equally delightful. HG: -) xx

I knew such a woman once and thought her different coloured eyes although they came as a surprise had the power to hypnotise At least they fascinated me I was beguiled completely The lady had no time for me for she was married happily

Lovely, Onelia - as usual you take a sideways look at a situation and we are not sure whether the eroticism is in your poem or just in our (less innocent) minds!

The green of terra firma and the blue of the firmament - the duality of two separate lives is cleverly brought together in this closely observed write. Your keen eye and originality make this a memorable piece.

This fits neatly with lots of your poems, it seems to me - concerned with the duality of people, only being half 'here'. I like it very much. Fx

Ah this is so very lovely. First let me say that the title is wonderful. Secondly the story is so very clever. How she could look at him with different eyes. (I guess we could all do this huh?) Sometimes when I'm focusing on what makes me happy I think of a summer's blue sky whilst lazing on green grass. For me, this is what the title means. For you, the wonderful story within. How lovely Onelia. HG: -) xx

On mushrooms the earth is smothered in blue, it is a gentle hue where faries are made, and the green light is like mint to a raging throat.

The processes of identication are complexes and very long. The objects are dismantled and reassambled, dispersed and condensed. In this poem we've a couple as well as, with some differences, in my 'Ode to Pelé' Onelia commented about. In 'Celestial' the objects are divided, in 'Ode' reunited. In 'Ode' the champion symbolizes a piece of preserved paternal value. In 'Celestial' the feeling is more actual.

What a great doubletake and what you make of it...very intriguing and mysterious. Do different coloured eyes see the world in different ways...do they cry diffferent coloured tears. A poem to make you think and then think about what you think and how you think it. Now there's a thought! love Donall Donall
