Heartless and soulless we run amuck Until we get a jolt; Once awakened we are all heart, The frivolous ego is molt. And then, “it even opens more, like tulip, soak with tears: it grows...” You are superb in your choice of similes, metaphors and silken imagery. Thank you for sharing the beautiful lines.

Clearly an inspired piece that sees the heart of one who perseveres in the face of adversity. The image of his heart opening up like a tulip watered by tears is simply beautiful. Lovely poem Onelia. justine.

Love the wild surreal imagery of the naked heart walking abroad in all its grief and glory and the image of the tulip is truly beautiful growing stronger still by the tears that it spills. As always your heart reaches out towards another's heart and touches them with the comfort of your words. love Donall Donall

a very sensitive poem, the poem, the poet and D are equally sensitive, all three of them have laid bare their sensitive and growing hearts which continually open like the fragrant petals of the 'tulip' and spilling the fragrance for senstive readers, thanx,
