I love this poem! You found so many ways of animating the letter X! I love the line ALGEBRA'S ENIGMA. Even a cliche like X MARKS THE SPOT takes on a new life in your poem. And you're absolutely right it doesn't get used a lot. You have succeeded in writing a poem about virtually NOTHING and it works.
