Wrong Life Poem by Aqua Flower

Wrong Life

Rating: 4.0

I'm in the wrong life
I am the wrong wife
I'm somewhere I don't belong
like a tune that never plays along
dancing to a different beat
I dance alone with two left feet
where nothing turns out right
and darkness shadows light
I'm in the wrong life
I am the wrong wife

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
"Dancing to a Different Beat" From Answers.com....This comes from Henry David Thoreau's quote about marching to the beat of a different drum. "If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away."

I step to a tuba-player's beat. Do they even HAVE a " beat" ? Beats me to He....ck! ! Unless you object, I'll send this to MyPoemList and share it with others...someday. Well, AT LEAST i'll send to MyPoemList.
