Written In The Stars. Poem by MIRAK Montiel

Written In The Stars.

Written in the Stars, Found in You

Somewhere beyond the edges of constellations,
beyond the hush of time and the echo of light,
I searched for you.
Not with my eyes—but with my soul,
ancient and restless,
whispering your name across the silence between stars.

Long before our hands met,
my heart recognized yours—
like a forgotten song remembered in a dream,
like the calm before the storm knew the rain.
I was always meant to find you,
because love like ours doesn't begin—
it remembers.

And now, here you are,
your breath steady against me,
sleeping as if the universe finally exhaled.
You rest in my lap,
and in this quiet moment,
I see the hand of God—
in your presence,
in your peace,
in the sacred way you've turned my ache into calm.

I used to mourn the nights,
searching for something I could never name.
But now I know—
it was you I was missing all along.
And somehow,
the stars rearranged themselves
just so you could find your way back to me.

So sleep, my love.
Sleep knowing you are home.
You are my answered prayer,
my heaven in human form.
And I will never grow weary
of loving you—
again and again,
in every breath,
in every lifetime
we find each other.
