Susan, Fine tribute to Bernard's craft. A poet with ambition; a free thinker with whom others find in kindred spirit. QtR

Bernard F. Asuncion (July 30,1967-Now) he is one of the good active poet here and there, who is always renewing his poems with a new topic and forms, thankfully you have written here very fine and successful Vertical Monocrostic, your attempt is amazing, really it is Upscale, using different forms for your poems telling us how great poet you are, always you have got excellent creativity to share with us, many thanks and it goes onto my fav list 101/100

A good try. As far as my knowledge goes, Bernard F. Asuncion and Edward Kofi Louis are fond of writing in this structure.

Bernard- -your definition was very helpful. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Bernard for explaining and demonstrating- -you make a very good teacher! ! ! ! I shall be attempting another one of these soon- I hope other poets explore it as well- it wakes up the brain cells to write one that makes sense much less a poetic sentence! ! ! ! I appreciate the time you took to do this.

Bernard ===In reference to example 2: Ha! ! ! I never thought of ending the words with the initials of the name! ! ! That gives an extra dimension of difficulty when ending words with a vowel! ! ! Thank you for showing an example of this to me!

VERTICAL MONOCROSTIC is actually a composition in modified acrostic style of poetry with a touch of monoku, requiring a single word formed in every initial or final letter of a name, word or phrase, resulting to a single sentence or phrase arranged vertically with any kind of topic sans rhyme and meter. Example 1: MONOCROSTIC SENTENCE S-tart U-sing S-tatement A-nd N-otable W-ords I-n L-ovely L-ines I-mplementing A-uthor’s M-onocrostic S-entence
