I know you won't believe me but... oh way back when

elena, i especially liked the first 7 words and the last two words of Writers of Yore. and you are correct; i DON'T believe you! thanks for suggesting this poem to me. i can tell it has just extended my brain's useful life by approximately 56 seconds. gee, i'm glad i read khairul's comment (i just communicated with him today) because my all-seeing eyes had not noticed the poet note yet. one 'complaint' if i may: skin and hand......what part of the hand did they write on if not the skin...fingernails i suppose...or hair! ? i liked the rhyming and the flow. i know i've used some of those 'primitive' writing methods, including blood. really. in fact, earlier this year when i had an 'urgent' need to remember a phone number someone was giving me over my cell phone, i used a small rock to scratch it on a little larger rock. i was on a beach and the tide was rising........that's enough of that story, but it is true. :) bri i placed this in MyPoemList.
Another excellent poem, another 10/10! Deep observation, well penned (or keyed, in computers!) . And the note...oh well! Sweet! Smiles.....
enjoyed it once again! and now it shall join other fine poems (about 20 of them) in Section A of my/our A Showcase For P H Poets on my PH site. i plan to visit a bloodmobile to donate today. when they have a guest register/comment book available, i write them a poem relating to blood. what fun! but i use a pen and ink, not blood; i'll already have given enough of that! bri :) thanks for the poem to share with readers of the showcase.
