Writers Block Poem by James Haedle

Writers Block

All I ever needed was a Pen and a Paper
Yet all that is missing are my Zeal and Inspiration
Better still it's a Good Topic & my Desire
So I pick the last thought on my mind and make a Mountain out of my Mole Hill

With my Spade in hand and not much Work to be done
I seem to dig a Contrast out of the Abstract
'Case and Point'
What is a writer without a Book? A Layman is all I can Say

Even with a flow of words, Rhyme & Reason
A writer's block is part of Life & Speech
