Write a poem
Without a fight within
Words wrung out of your guts
Like pearls embedded in the sea
Down into the deepest deep
Of your soul, feelings seek
A language, a pouring out
A healing, an exit
What better time than this starry night
Above, an immense sky
Moon, a fierce white
Its garish light seeping into the skin
Write a poem
Out of a suffering we share
In the darkness of our souls
Lost in the twilight of pain
Azure sky turning black
Like the shadows of remembrance
Nostalgia, an escape
Withering into dismay
What more you need than this intensity
Of longing that pierces into the somber night
And holds the dawn at bay.

My dear friend, this is a blessed poem. And I call you my friend because you have written this brave poem, which reveals the struggle you endured to write it. But you had to write it so that what is invisible is made visible so that other poets can see what being a poet truly means. It means suffering experienced and welcomed for the sake of others, so that their path of suffering will be flooded with l-i-g-h-t and they will already know the h-o-p-e you had to find on your own. You give light and hope to those coming after you and that is why your poem is blessed.Sincerely, Nosheen - HAFEZ

An adorable piece of poetry. I can't add anything extra that great Daniel has put. Top score and to my favourite.
