I don't know if this is a metaphorical poem or a realistic one. The language is so compelling that I worry it's all literally true. If it's true, I agree with Tom below - ACT PROMPTLY. But if it's metaphorical, it points to a flaw in the universe, that is, good deeds don't always promote more good deeds, too often goodness is manipulated, instead of like attracting like, its polar opposite appears. This is a poem of warning that our best intentions can lead us into the worst experience.

Theft by someone close to you must be very disturbing. I'd act promptly. Your sleep and security are the only considerations here. I'd apply a big boot to the offender. Maybe that's not possible in your circumstances so you need help. It's a fine poem, Nika. I just hope things get sorted out for you.
