Wrestling With My Thoughts Poem by Llewellyn Douglas

Wrestling With My Thoughts

Here we go again
All went well, suddenly
Dawn is breaking
And discomfort arise

Goodnight, sleep tight
Everyone disappears
The moment arrives
Me myself and I

Wrestling with the world
Wrestling with thoughts
Wrestling with fear
Wrestling with sleep

The sweetest thing ever
Running away from me
Is this a pattern that was formed
Do I fight this battle on my own
