Wow Factor Poem by Lauren Coles

Beauty isn't everything,
People just see people for what is on the inside,
Time to get out of your comfort zone,
You might met someone who just moved here and works at the local newspaper and is in a wheelchair,
You might be impressed by the way someone walks or batts their eyes at you,
You can love a person with your whole heart for the people that are and what they bring to the table,
It's time to pull back the curtain on diversity and inclusion and show the world what you can do instead of focusing on your limitations.
So what if I can't tuck in my future child I can have help,
I can make them feel like they're are loved,
I want them to know that they are loved by God,
If they have a problem with their homework I'll help them with it and listen to them.
We can see the wow factor in every one if we look beyond the dark.
