Hi Robyn - Honoured again to be the first to comment. This is a very elegant poem which says so so much in so so few words. Its subject is the emotional wounds of a WOUNDED HEART. The problem is they are often infliced by the very one we love 'Oncew betrewn with petals sweet - now besmiched with tar'. Unsen wounds take longer to heal - and can only be healed by LOVE. Thanks for sharing - Love through Poetry - JOHN.
