Would You? Poem by Dawn Novus

Would You?

Would you let me die in your love.. Beloved

I could

I could and surely I would grope for eternity with you by my side

And still.. You make my heart stand still.

My love, my love..

I shall live through this lifetime

Its chains and its bonds

And we would still not get to it

Not get to it my one

You could be the diamond in the rough

It matters to me not

The way I feel

The way I feel

Its love and its love and its love.

Strange, I could never tell this poem was about love. Just kidding Love beautifully arranged, orchestrated and musically heard. Like the song of a poet-bird.
