In just a few lines you capture the essence of true humanism, war serves our animal lusts, but peace learning to coexist brings greater enlightenment for higher living. Another wonderful Susan Williams Poem!
Profound, we all want this world to become like what you think, may be our collective efforts will help our offspring to see and dwell in that world. Let us hope for the best. Thoughtful poem. Nothing less than Full stars.
A powerful poem with a meaningful message. I hope and pray there will never be war again. It must always be abhorred. Beautifully conveyed and crafted. To my Poem List
I profusely admire the poet's quest for peace reflected in this great poem. Top score!
That will come to pass one day when the meek inherit the earth, great poem Susan
