Worst Moment Poem by Akorah Joel Chimuanya

Worst Moment

Rating: 5.0

The moment you left, my world went dark
Without you my heart flushed
With tears my heart shatters in silence
The memories of you; I try to fight
Which haunts my mind, like a blinking light
I wish we would be like we used to be
So I could be free from our love ghost
I tried to devise good thoughts; yet I think of
— Bad thoughts
Memories of our adventure; a haunting thought
A huge fraught yet I don't seem to care
Momently, my smile flies away
My eyes, my skins seems to turn gray
My body, my mind stiffens for days
Like rigor mortis is taking place
In the worst moment, I search for light
Searching for light and peace with all my might
When love has turned to ash; yet hope lingers
