Worship By Force Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

Worship By Force

Houses of worship in residential areas
Singing, drumming and dancing all night
Big speakers blaring non-stop loudly
While residents struggle to catch some sleep

Whom did we offend in this land?
With the common man constantly oppressed
A word of protest you cannot utter
The demon you are if you dare.
