World's Oneness Poem by james watkin

World's Oneness

Ill-fitted to keep in step
With pathways' social will
Lonelier twas, down at each
Side of this unshared hill.

Yet tis from where, as oddly
Natural as proper, in
Reaching out for it, embraced
And not but wholehearted
The World's oneness. If outspread
Tree on tree. Wing on wing.
