Here I am alone in space orbiting the earth
There were others once but they are gone for what it's worth
For when we left there was peace of earth for many
But war turned up again like a bad penny
So we sat up looking over the world
As the mushrooms grew and destruction gelled
After two days things became deadly quiet
And the earth burned below in a fiery riot
My fellow cosmonauts decided to end it all
Going into the airlock without space suits was their call
After a short time the airlock was opened out
And each of them died as their bodies were thrown about
I am alone here on the International Space Station
As I contemplate my next action
Then suddenly the radio spoke to me
Saying calling the International Space Station we are alive you see
So I have a decision to make now
Should I try to get to them or just call foul
There was a Soyuz capsule awaiting me
Or do I join my fellow cosmonauts and be floating free.
