World Sparrow Day Comments

now we are happy to see two baby sparrows getting feed from their mom and embarking on small flights within the balcony! Matrimony successful!

This is so cute....! Strange enough the bulbul makes its nest very close to human habitats, mostly in the patio or veranda if there are potted plants! Last year a bulbul couple made a beautiful nest on an door plant kept on the outer balcony of our house. I watched its progress with so much of curiosity! When the eggs were laid, alas, they were eaten away by a stray cat! Here it is interesting that a sparrow could oust a Bulbul!
