Suppose you are sitting quiet
Nothing particular to do
Getting a little bored
And suppose a work approaches you
A little shabby, a little uninteresting
A little nobody among works
So what would you do?
Turn up your nose?
Wait for a finer fellow to come?
Better accept it, welcome it
Usher it in respectfully
Begin with patience and finish it well
And what would that little nobody do?
Bless you a thousand fold
For work is a generous giver
It remembers, it respects the doer
It pays with its heart
No matter how small it is, no matter how dull it is!
