Outside the chest and respiratory clinic,
beside me sits an elderly man, engrossed in his phone.
The screen displays a chat window,
filled with characters of a foreign script.
Suddenly, an English sticker appears, proclaiming 'Love you.'
It must have been sent by someone who couldn't be there in person.
Perhaps a woman, a child, or a friend from afar.
His eyes light up
as he reads the message repeatedly.
Regardless of his ailment,
in this very moment,
his heart is filled with joy,
his chest is swelling with happiness.
