Of course that should have read 'philosophers'...why isn't there a quick fire editing button on this site.? ! ! Surely all of the annoying advertising could pay for it...one of the slowest sites I've ever had the misfortune of using...so disappointing!

Thanks Shaun. This particular poem was influenced by John Lennon's comment that genius is pain. I like to look at life in in all its light and dark aspects. I don't know whether there is more good than bad in the world...that's something phiosophers and theologians have debated argued about throughout the centuries. My aim is to simply tell it like it is from my experience without glossing over anything.

Great poem Dominic and never a truer word said. Yes this life is hard and cruel and relentless sometimes. But, there's more good than bad in life much like people, the secret is knowing where to look. And if we can't find it, then we look harder.10++ and thank you for sharing. I wish you well and take care.
