Wordly Games Poem by Luz H.

Wordly Games

Rating: 5.0

I cut the ties that bind you
I set you free
not that it mattered
not that you waited
for like a wild beast
you ran away to seek
fresh meat

your prey turn out to be
a hunter just like you
each at their own game
a worldly game of
deceived souls
trying to get it all
deceiving others
but mainly
themselves

That's the reality of greed in human. They could lie and could manipulate everything with their words to have what they want but eventually, they become the most in-trust-able creature on this mother earth.
