Rating: 5.0

We have a snug retreat far in the woods
Not bigger than a robin’s nest
But cozy and comfy for just two souls
A hide out from the fuss n’ fever of life

It is here our souls acquire dove’s wings. Though time has taken its toll from our bodies, Though youth and beauty have gone for ever, Still we walk in the woods with hands clasped! ......touching expression with lofty theme. A beautiful poem with interesting inscription has been incisively delineated. Thanks for posting this gem with us.

Change is always attractive and if it is a change from the noisy and polluted atmosphere of a cosmopolitan town to a woody house in the forests, it brings glimpses of paradise.

Youth and beauty lies inside mind, What I think. So It will go when you let you go. A very good experience with poetic thought. I liked reading it.

ah, I wonder, why dear Valsaji is found busy with nature these days! Must share with you, they are beautiful in all the sense and dimensions. Truly enjoying its structure, diction, the ambiance and the feel that is permeated all over. Silence itself is true, unnatural, but in its core is mellow and inspiring to find the still hidden profoundness of even human thoughts. We, the man modern, are unlucky, rather cursed with unpleasant noises even in the villages, and our soul yards! ... what to say...you drive home such wonderful feelings. God bless. Rgds.

The quiet times are full of the meaning of life in it's beautiful essence, of standing still and listening to our innermost thoughts, that inspire us to seek a sanctuary to off load the stress of our busy lives! I love this serene and superb write!

Excellent tribute paid to a scenic splendour and a landscape that teems with things transparently decoding an attitude to life. A fine poem, madam.

The poem is great in its style and emotions of experience in such a place where the mind frees from tensions and makes the poet the experience of solitude. The air is pristine and may be without pollution which is ideal place. A good poem and recited..
