This poem was very tender and so relaxing. I could feel your peace and happiness collecting those flowers. Professionaly written in my opinion. Strong in detail and imagery. I loved it.

As an aging country boy I felt this to the core Linda. It isn't only romantic love that can break our hearts: childhood memories like this are heartbreakingly bittersweet to the not so young who had experiences such as these. You'll hardly believe just how much this moved me. Took me all the way back - I could smell the moss, felt the scratches and remember the beauty and scents of the flowers (a really soft guy I know! - too bad) . It reeks of the innocence that time and life take from us, the loss of which is so hard to bear as we age. A magnificent reconstruction of childhood experience. This says so much about you! ! Thank youxx
