Woman's Touch Poem by William Kofoed

Woman's Touch

As a boy still quite young

One day learns that girls have changed

And now can think only of them

Longing for them to touch

And for them him to touch

And this grows ever stronger

Wanting more every day

Fills his nights with endless dreams

And his days with wondering

Of them touching him

Their skin against his skin

Every day and every night

Fill his thoughts and fill his dreams

And as a man he learns

Knowledge is richer still

Bringing color and sounds to life

Once mere wonders dim not known

Endlessly fills the thoughts

Of the joy of a woman's touch
