Woman &islam Poem by Dr Shamim Ali

In Islam, women have rights so true,
Education, inheritance, property too,
Choose their spouse, and divorce if due,
Work and legal protection, all anew.

Prophet Muhammad taught us so,
Seeking knowledge, women can grow,
Inheriting from family, their own show,
Managing finances, their own glow.

Marriage consent is a woman's right,
Divorce if treated unfairly, take flight,
Khadija, a businesswoman in sight,
Working and pursuing dreams, a delight.

Legal protection and justice, Allah's call,
Women's rights upheld, for one and all,
Against oppression, be just and tall,
In Islam, women's rights stand tall
