This is the second time this poem has been chosen as POD on August 8,2020. I am getting a lot of inspiring comments from other poets to my email address. Surprisingly and unfortunately, I don't see any of the comments on this page. Feeling really sad that I am not able to reply to those beautiful messages. I have informed PH administration, and they have assured me that the problem will be taken care of. Thanks to all members for their support.
Oh how beautifully presented the vitality of a woman, there is no doubt that a woman is stronger than anybody else if empowered and understood properly she can do miracles.......very touching as well as inspiring 10++
A wonderful poem! Many congratulations for this fabulous poem being featured as Poem of the Day!
Quite true! What we are doing today was unthinkable a two generations back! Congrats on poem of day!
Incredible dedication to the woman and all their struggles, for liberty and independence. The personal tale of your own grandmothers struggles are enlightening of what the average women faced, and still faces. May we and future generations not forget what the women of yesterday put their lives on the line for. A wonderful poem.
You are woman You are an independent existence You have all rights to live on this earth independently No, no need to be Jane, Elizabeth, Kadambini..... You are yourself You are full of conscience as human You have brave heart Let the world know that you are the full sun of the day and moon of the night Be yourself
Sorry Jane Austen, I would rather be my Grandma's granddaughter, Before Anyone else! ...wonderful expression Be yourself at first Be brave heart righteously wherever you go No need to follow others or to be depended on others Congrats for being selected again this beautiful empowerment poem as POD
Great tribute to all women of the world- past or present. They may be lacking on one thing (say formal education) but they were worldly wise. Thanks for sharing exceptional piece of poetry.

'
